Gas fire closure plate tape as specified in BS 5871 : Part 1 Specification for installation of gas fires, fire/back boilers, convector heaters,and decorative fuel effect gas appliances: Part 1 Gas fires, fire/back boilers, convector heaters. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd family gases, Tape complies with the British Gas specification for sealing tape for gas fire closure plates, PRS 10.
Double Sided Foam Tape Double Sided Foam Tape Ref: GED017
A double sided foam fixing tape with a high tack permanent adhesive. Used in gas fire fixing applications, for example attaching aluminium closure plates to the fireplace. This tape is not to British Gas specification PRS 10 which does not specifically cover double sided tapes. Service temperature: -20 C up to 75 C
